“On behalf of the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital, I would like to thank you and your volunteers for presenting hands-on exhibits at Girl Scout Day at the National Air and Space Museum, Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center on March 8, 2008.  This was a record breaking year with 3,125 people associated with Girl Scouts in attendance.  We had 2,034 children and 1,091 adults who were able to enjoy your enthusiasm, expertise, fun activities, and thoughtful information. The museum counted a total of 13,158 visitors for the day.”

“We have had a great response from troop leaders, many saying that this year’s activities were the most engaging they can remember in recent years. I commend you on your thoughtful dedication to making this event possible for us. Without organizations like yours, we would be unable to provide Girl Scouts with such a wonderful opportunity to explore the fields of science, math, technology, and engineering.”
